She imports some stunning young horses, but, as with most dealers, make sure you ask the right questions and if you aren't sure take somebody knowledgeable with you. I have an ex-CN horse and he is gobsmacking

known many horses from there go to high levels and bought for good (normal price) !!

I dont think Carron is extortianate either and will price horses fairly !!

oh and if your there go and see fantastia she is just the most loveliest mare every xx
 
I know of two people who have got stunning horses from her - three I suppose if you count Tabledancer!

I have heard recently that her prices have gone up quite considerably from when I was there with a friend, do not have any idea how true that it though. The horse I know best was backed a month when the owner bought it and within a year had qualified for the BD Regionals at Prelim - and was a v sensible price.

She is somewhere I would look if I was in the market for a horse of that type.
 
I have bought and sold through her. Bought one ( many years ago) who did exactly what he said on the tin. No problems and gave us years of pleasure. More recently I sent her one to sell- straight talented horse, and she did quickly for a sensible price.

maybe the price rise is due to her buying on the continent and the price of the Euro at the moment ? x

I guess it must not be common knowledge yet, but Fantasia has now been sold, to a VERY wealthy spanish lad
 
I know someone who bought a horse from Highfield Stud, Richard Selleck in Reading......the previous owner and importer of the horse in question were European Sports Horses at Rumer Stud I believe. This horse was only owned by my friend for under 2 months before being diagnosed with Navicular! It was put down recently after being sent to Liphook where they found issues with the back legs too and basically written off. If buying anything from Euro Sports Horses I would be getting full vetting done and x-rays in my opinion

Geez, you could say that about any horse bought from anywhere for any price!! Not fair to black mark Rumer Stud for that IMO!! That's just bad luck.

OP, Go and have a look and try, there are always plenty to choose from and if Carron doesn't have one suitable, she will probably know someone who does!
