Heard about this on the radio this morning going up to the yard. How the hell did that happen?? It's not as if it would have been dark at that time of the day. Can only imagine that maybe the sun being so low and bright may have been a factor.

The carriage driver Simon and his daughter Hannah are ok. Both now out of hospital. Simon has a long way to go on his recovery.
He is on facebook under his business name and has been thanking people for their support.
The car was speeding when it hit the carriage..... The horses Hebe and Hobo are ok, a little shaken up but not too bad. They have seen the vet and once of them had a heamatoma but I think all is well now.
Simon is ex army and has always worked with horses, he had the carriage business for about 5/6 years without any issues before this. He is very hot on road safety.
He has broken alot of bones and is back at home now where his wife is looking after him

Really good to hear that they are all recovering well after a hideous accident
