Carriage driving - adjustable shafts?

Hi, My carriage (bellcrown) is supposed to have adjustable shafts but can't figure out how you adjust them for the height of the pony? They are swan neck shafts (hope thats right) do you just rotate them? If not can I just have some made without so much a bend in them?

Is there a place where the shafts are bolted onto the body of the carriage where they can be adjusted? this is where the shaft height is altered on my bennington. If you ring the manufactureres they should be able to tell you

Heres pic.

The shafts slide into a piece of box section by the swingletree. They are secured by two bolts which can be undone to slide them out / rotate. I have emailed bellcrown who are now only in america but have had no answer.

I don't think they can be adjusted, but am certainly not sure. New shafts would cost you a fair amount. You might like to contact rabatsa on here, or join the driving forum board (as a driver you might find it good there anyhow.)
