I'm looking to get my field share a carriage driving lesson for a Christmas present as he's bought a harness for one of his little ponies but has not yet had to chance to actually give driving a go. He helps me out whenever I need a favour with mine and thought it would be a good way to say thanks.

There are obviously loads of people who offer lessons out there, but any recommendations on a good instructor? Not an area of the horsey world I know much about since learning the basics at college. Based in Hampshire but I'm sure he would be willing to travel further out.

Help appreciated:)

Matt Were, Irish Team driver has an advert on NFED currently. Soton based.

British driver, sorry

Sorry for the delay. I was going to recommend the chap at Grayswood but as someone as already done it I won't bother to send a PM unless you tell me to. He has been recommended to me by a very knowledgable coachman and is approved by are the BDS. Details are apparently available on the BDS website.
