A timely reminder of the horrific situations that equine charities are dealing with. I've seen some of the images associated with this and they are heart breaking.
I know many of the other equine charities are involved but since so many of you have supported Bransby, buying Hovis' books etc that i thought you might want to see where some of the money you have given is going.
Taken from Bransby horses news feed only an hour or so ago:
"Bransby Horses would like to thank everyone who is involved with the ongoing monitoring and support of ponies on the Manmoel and Cefn Golau commons in South Wales and who assisted in the recent rescue of a number of suffering animals. The rescued ponies are now receiving much needed care at Bransbys Herefordshire Centre and making good progress. The Society for the Welfare of Horses and Ponies and the Welsh Pony Re-homing Project continue to check the commons daily and Local Authorities, charities and local communities are working closely together to ensure other ponies will receive the help they may need.
Following this recent rescue we have today taken into care a Black mare who is in poor condition from Llangyndir."

Thank you again to everyone who has bought Hovis' books and supported this charity. A reminder that 100% of the proceeds go to the charity (Hovis and I dont make a bean) and the books are available from the wonderful people at the Horse and Hound online shop as well as the online shop at Bransbys own website.
from the bottom of my heart thank you xxx
