How do you feed your carrots? And why do you do certain things?

I just chuck them in feeds whole, sometimes hide them in haynets. I never chop them up as I was told that they could choke on them. However, if my boys have ended up small bits of carrots, they have survived!
 
yard owner chops them in half length way, I leave them whole. Sometimes chop them up lenght ways for inpatients and hide them in haynets, it's a great way to get them to eat!
 
another one for throwing in whole, usually in field when frozen though. However, I did used to take great delight in spending ages on a freezing winters night cutting my mares carrots to fit into her decohedran (sp) treat ball... Thank god she lives out now!
