I've seen people at shows with a water carrier attached above the footplate on their horse trailers - it looks like a really good idea. Does anyone know where to get them from? What do other people do about carrying water? Thanks

My old rice trailer had one but it looked as though it had been made by someone rather than bought. I always carry mine on the floor of the car behind my seat. Don't know if you can buy them but you could always check trailer manufacturer's accessories list?

I have 2 of those Warrior brightly coloured containers and I store them in the front of the trailer - held in place with an elastic bungee tie. Never had one move or tip.

I have trouble lifting big containers so we now fill up about 8-10 of the 5L water bottles from the supermarket and then these get put in a hay net which is secured on the floor at the front of the trailer. They are much easier for me to lift and I can pour them straight over the pony if required for a cool down.
