Carsington Water- trailer parking

Just wondered if anyone can tell me where the best place to park a horsetrailer if I was to go riding around Carsington Water nr Ashbourne.

Can you park a trailer there? I've never seen any horse riders and certainly no horse trailers or boxes. Would be lovely place to ride round!

It has a bridlepath round so you can park in any of the car parks I think. I have definately seen boxes/trailers in the main carpark at the far end. Hope so as I am hoping to go over there soon!

Think it's called "Sheepwash" car park to aim for, you can definately ride there, well you could xmas 2007 as me and a friend did no problem

I think they have put a height barrier on the Sheepwash carpark so it would have to be the main carpark at the visitors centre.
