My boy was diagnosed four weeks ago with Bilateral Bone Spavin in his right rear hock. He has been having the designated weekly Cartrophen Jab (last one tomorrow). On instruction from my vet we have been hacking only in walk so hopefully back to mor work from tomorrow. My question is.....has anyone else had a similar experience with their horse and did you notice any different behaviour with them be it good or bad? I know it's "that time of year etc", but my lad is definitely fed up with just walking out! He tried to tank off with me on Tuesday!

I am hoping he will be less spooky and lazily when schooling and also more conscious of me and what I ask of him, since we have sorted out his discomfort so to speak. But I hope it does not leave him too much for me to handle.

Any experiences well received.
