Cartrophen anyone?

Have just been told to use this for my horse's sub - acute tenosynovitis, having had his hind tendon sheath scanned today. Luckily nothing worse detected. I know its quite pricey stuff so wondered how people have got on with it. Any good results etc?

My horse had it "just in case" it helped with her cartilage degeneration between her DDFT and pedal bone. I can't be sure if it helped but she's not permamently mechanically lame, which was the point of her having the jabs! My vet swears by it and I trust her completely, hence why I went along with spending the extra little bit of money

my horse had it when he had annular ligament desmitis and tenosynovitis. it did bugger all.

My horse has had it twice, first time following a tear in the superficial flexor tendon and more recently after an op to tidy up a tear in the cartilage in the same horse's stifle (he is now sound) on both occasions I think it helped.

I used it on my dog following his cruciate surgery and it did wonders.

its being used on my mare who has PSD - christ knows what good its going to do!!

My mare been on it for slight arthritic changes in coffin joint, has kept her sound so must be good stuff
