For those of you who have asked about Cartrophen in the past, it proved tonight to be a success for my 10 year old Goldie
she has severe HD.
The vet did her manipulations of her hips today after a 4 week course of injections and has said that although they are still stiff, the range of movement is brilliant, better than before PLUS she is keeping up with our 12 month old GSD and having no lameness/pain and running off on walks!
she is still stiff upon getting up (when she's had a long lie down, but no limping) but who isn't
She had another booster injection tonight and then he said its now upto us - if she starts showing signs of pain or lameness, another booster but it should last 6 months at least.
Very happy, well worth going down that route!
