Does anyone know more about the Caspian stock in the UK?

My 2nd pony was a Caspian - 12hh bright bay - cracking pony - jumped 3.3ft, hunted - even pulled the leveler for our sandschool (which was a gate) before the days where quads were standard! We got him from a women who had brought him at a market. TB like - but minuture - he is still with the little girl *(who is prob now 17 or 18)* as she never needed to sell him so now drives him as out grown.

I have never really heard about Caspians again - other than they originate Iran way..

Yep there is a caspian stud near us royston barnsley called darkhorse stud but i would not touch them she has too many to cope and some are poor.

there is a caspian breed society stud in Chippenham , Wiltshire

My sister has a mare on loan from a stud in Wiltshire, absolutely fantastic little games pony and brilliant showjumper. They are really versatile little horses.
