Castration question

I would like to have my 14 month old gelded next week {ive just bought him} one of his testicles has dropped the other i can feel but it is tucked up, can he still be done?

When the colt is under sedation, everything relaxes and hangs! Your vet will examine him and be able to tell you if he thinks he can remove the 2nd testicle.

The vet will check first, to see if he can "reach" the higher one. I have had a couple done which sounder similar to your boy, and they were done OK but it made the job a little more difficult for the vet.
