Stan is booked in to have his dangleberries removed next week and I am a nervous wreck. I have already moved it back a week because he's been on anti-biotics after he got attacked, and I keep having to talk myself out of moving it back again (or just cancelling it all together). It doesn't help that OH is pestering me to let him produce babies (which is not happening!).
I am really worried about him going in and having it done, and also a bit worried that he won't be the same little Stan afterwards
Some reassurance, and perhaps a kick up the backside, would be much appreciated. How long does it normally take for them to recover? how risky is it? does it change their personalities? how long does he have to wear the collar of shame for?
Thank you.
