Cat coat detangler/ conditioner

I need recommendations for a really good spray in cat safe coat detangler/ conditioner.

One of ours has thick long hair and despite brushing twice a day, his winter coat gets knots really quickly. You can brush him in the morning and by the evening he’s sporting knotted trousers. Doesn’t help that he loves being outside so he’ll come in with a whole hedge tangled in his coat.

So Posh Kitty Mist is what our groomer uses on longhairs, safe for every day use as well

I have the same issue and he came with a knotted coat, so hates grooming when he has tangles. I'm going to check out the suggestion above (thanks, Druid!) as it's a nightmare in shedding season!
