My cob still has cat hairs which won’t budge- should I be worried? I haven’t noticed them before and they’re very long

They can be a sign of PPID/Cushings's, but some heavier cobs do like to sport them year round.

How old is he?
12, but his cost his also shiny and looks great, not to mention is performance is the best it’s ever been, which makes me think cushings is unlikely. He’s extremely stocky and looks like a shire x.

A couple of the hairy RDA cobs have lots of long cat hairs. We cut them off with scissors where they would get caught in any tack but leave them otherwise.

Years ago I remember singeing them off with a low, broad wick, a delightful smell.
