cat has been fighting

I thought it was just a scratch but pus is coming out, it is on head, and there is a lot of pus coming out a small hole, I have cleaned it up and tried to inject intrasil, not very successful.
Cat seems healthy, should I repeat tomorrow or take to vet?

If it were one of mine, I'd take to the vet asap for an antibiotic injection. If there's lots of pus, the infection's well set in already.

Cat bites are nasty, definately a trip to the vet for the infection.

Vets, but should only need antibiotics.
The worst is if the wound closes, then bursts with pus - then you're into a real mess as will need flushing and possibly stitches depending on the size of the hole, so best to nip it in the bud if you can.

I'm mean, my old cat was a bit of a scrapper, and I would pull the scabs off and bathe when the wound wass first inflicted... if you manage to notice it, that is. if youc can catch them at that stage get it clean, they usually heal without an absess - unless I was just lucky with the last few wounds he got (he also stopped scrapping as he got older)

Sounds like an abcess from a cat fight (better out than in) in regards to puss/infection, so a good sign it has burst, clean it thoroughly and def an anti B jab.
Is the cat neutered?

He is neutered and this is only his second fight in ten years, it looks cleaner now but still weepy, there is another scratch but is is clean. I think the stuff I used is for puncture wounds, but the hole on his head is very tiny

All is clean this am, have washed and rubbed it and put on more wound gel, which seems to work well.
