Both ours are insured with PetPlan's basic policy. £4k vet fees and £1k complementary treatment per year £27/ month for both of them. Worth it for the peace of mind for me!

Both are insured with Pet Plan, think we have the middle level of cover.

I've also added purchase price pay out, as both are pedigrees so expensive! Although I did also add it to the AC's policy and they were great at paying out when he died.

My mum uses them for hers and they were great with her Forest Cat when she got various medical conditions, hence why I used them for ours

Pet plan for ours too. They paid out a lot last year for ours (we must have been getting close to the £4k but I’ve not added it up!) and the premiums haven’t gone up nearly as much as I expected. Ours is 15years old this year so they impose a 20% excess on each claim as well as the £150 at the beginning. But we’ve still had a lot paid out which has definitely been worthwhile in making it slightly less painful!

Many pets for mine. He's on a multipet plan with the dog. Not had to claim for the cat but claimed plenty of times for the daft dog and it has been very simple, quick and easy all times.

They're both on the regular level of cover which is £7k per year, per condition.

Currently pay £40 for both, think it started at £35 3.5 years ago when I started using many pets. The premium has gone up and down in-between but never more than £40 per month.

My Mum works at a small animal vets on the admin team and said the best for paying out are Petplan, Many Pets and Tesco.

The cheapest quote that I could get for the arriviste King Kevin Kat (14) was £70pm!
What with uninsurable 28yr-old Arabian Psycho, I'll have to pay for whatever they need. What's different about today? Nothing.

Jesus!! For that price I’d just keep it and stick it in a “in case of emergencies” pot!
