Took both my girls to the vets last night for their jabs and general check up. Chloe was fine but Sophie needs some dental work.

Does anyone know roughly how much Ill be looking at? She will need a general and at least 2 teeth look pretty bad apparently

My mum's cat had some dental work done just before christmas last year, poor bugger only has two teeth left now but she seems to manage fine (still catching mice, she must gum them to death

). I can't remember exactly how much it cost, will give my mum a ring later and ask but I don't think it was much over £200. That was including a general, removal of four teeth and a course of anti-inflammatory pills etc. afterwards.

Mouth surgery heals quickly as there is such a good blood supply there, she will be right as rain in no time

Ah thanks - very kind of you. She did have some dental stuff done a while ago (she fell out of a 3rd storey window and put her teeth through her tongue and chipped her front teeth

) but she had other stuff done at the same time so want sure what the dental bit alone was.

My mates dog has got hardly any teeth but still managed to gum he food to death OK - bless
