Well he's had his op (monday). Stayed in overnight because he has a wound about 8-9inches long according to the vet and a drain in which is draining freely. So far it's holding together well though and I'm not sure if it is good or bad but the tumour was huge and originated from a small spot? So could do well possibly, just have to wait and see. I'm terrified now that it's not going to heal or something, so good vibes gratefully received!
He's apparently very very grumpy so getting his analgesic (sp?) topped up.So he'll not be home tonight, might be another day or two but I'd rather he was there and supervised by the trained people as don't want anything going wrong!
We're looking for some sort of dog cage to keep him confined for a bit when he gets home, but not keen on spending 89quid for a few days (peace of mind-otherwise he might decide to jump up and don't want to risk it), last time he was ill we used a human playpen, any suggestions of something cheap and serviceable as a kitty container?
