Not been on here for ages but so much has happened i need to share...

We have moved in to the little rented yard on my own, it is so nice to let my children enjoy themselves knowing they are not bothering anyone or worry about them getting close to horses I'm not familiar with. The horses are relaxed and doing well and it's only a 4 minute walk from my house AMAZING!

I took Ziggy to his 1st Hunter trials on Sunday he was so good especially as it rained sideways all day, very excited when we got there but settled and although very green at the first 3 fences (as you can see by the 1st fence the log) but soon settled and took it in his stride. We both really enjoyed ourselves although we were pooped after. Also had a 'lightbulb' lesson on Tuesday where the work of the last 10 months is coming together- can't wait for lesson on Monday now.

After a lovely summer showing on the lead rein, Sid the sec a that i have been bringing on for the last 12 month had his 1st session with a teenage rider. He was predictably nervous to start and reluctant to leave me but once he got going he was so good, napped for the gate a couple of times but soon got that out of his system. Only rode him for 15 minutes in walk and left it on a good note. Becky will be coming twice a week so we can teach him in regular small bites which seems to work best for him.

Basically it has been a great 2 weeks and I just needed to share. Photos of Z and short video of Sid below.

Just making sure the log doesn't bite!

That's what i love about this forum - the help with 'ones' own problems learning through others' problems and most of all sharing the good times. :D
