Extremely Old Nag!
Hate to annoy you all but I'm back! Had a new comp and lost all connections which has taken a while to be fixed but all sorted now.
Have I missed a lot this last fortnight, has Hannah foaled yet etc?!
You've got a bit of catching up to do too! To start with, Dolly the Trolley has gone for a month trial with a lovely lady to help her get her confidence back; judging from the sound of it she is doing that very well and has even been to Tushingham for a bit of a caper round which was entirely new to Dolly but she loved it! I have also, shock horror, sold Dotty! She has gone to a lovely experienced eventing home to try BYEH for starters before she starts competing properly so I'm hoping to catch up with her debut at Burghley next year. I am about to take her off my avatar as I don't think it's fair to use her when she now belongs to someone else. Bless her socks, she walked straight up the ramp last week and she hasn't been in a box since she was a foal; she also unloaded and settled in like a real trooper so I'm keeping everything crossed she has a successful career ahead of her.
I have also sent Joey to school to become a showhorse all being well; he only went on Sunday so you'll have to wait awhile for some pictures when Mel thinks he's ready! In the next box to him is my old Bear, many of you will remember. He's there to be slowly broken as he is now a stunning giant of 17.1! I am so proud of him, he is gorgeous!
Twiggy has been giving me a scare by looking decidedly unpregnant but after a check up, it seems all is well and she's just hiding it from us! I'll uncross everything when she's safely delivered; just like her, she has a sense of humour!
Bea is still waiting while I make up my mind where she is going, bless her; my vet and blacksmith have fallen in love with her! Depending on Twiggy, she'll either take up the free return at End House or she'll go to One More Tiger who is absolutely stunning in the flesh ans should suit her very well.
Think that's about it for now so I'll wait to catch up on all of your news too!
