Finally - a horse I like actually passed the vet!!!

From some angles, he looks unbelievably like Cat but from others he looks completely different, which I think is good. He will be 5 in June.

Got a week before I rejoin the ranks of the employed, so had better make the most of it!!

Thank you to everyone who's helped me thru the difficult jobless, horseless months.

Too late _ I was going to say hide him from Weezy - a big grey showjumper, if he goes missing you'll know where to look!

PMSL indeed, I am very keen on horsenapping him

Yeah I know - whitening shampoo.

The last horse I liked that failed the vet was very dark bay & I was really looking forward to chucking out my white plaiting thread & my super strength shampoos & my latex-free rubber gloves that always get water down the cuffs when I'm scrubbing away...

I LOVE getting up 2 hours earlier than nec for comps to scrub a poo covered horse!!

So pleased for you Cat and what a lovely horse. A real eye catcher and huge potential to take you where you want to go. Looking forward to seeing your reports in Comps! x

What a fantastic looking horse and fabulous jump. Wish you all the luck for a long and sucessful partnership.

Hope to see you out on him at some point.

Yes, I've bought him & he's settling in... Vet booked for tomo to start vacs, saddler booked for Thurs as I'm hoping he might fit into Cat's saddles as they're similar breeding & a similar shape, sj lesson booked for the Thurs of the following week, dr lesson provisionally booked for the Sat after that...

Wahey - we're back on the road!!

Will also post when we start competing as I'd really love to meet up with other people from here at shows, even if just to say hi. I've got a theory that it might help with the comp nerves...

It does feel really weird tho, & o/h agrees. We were both so used to Cat & knew what he'd do in any given situation. Really, really strange & unsettling to be starting again totally from scratch.
