Catherston Dougal

I was wondering if anyone can give me further information about Catherston Dougal ie, training, behaviour, owners, illnesses etc. I have recently got Dougal, he is nearly 25 years old, but I can’t find out anything about him since 2011 and I would like to try and find out more about him. TIA

I hope he has mellowed in his old age! I don’t think he had the best reputation as a stallion and was cut fairly young. Best people to ask would be Catherston, I’m sure they would be pleased to give you some background on what he was like and where he went.

I have vague memory of him as I had a Dutch Gold of similar age whom I adored

Unfortunately he’s still quite stubborn and not very polite mannered!

It looks like he only competed affilliated until 2008, stood at stud breifly and was then sold overseas.
