What are the dangers of leaving a female cat unspayed and letting nature take its course re: if she will get pregnant or not.

You mean aside from being overrun with kittens within a year?

I would've thought FIV was the biggest risk...but there's probably more to worry about. Our ferals were all in kitten constantly until we trapped them and them spayed. They look so much more healthy now.

Oh she'll get pregnant allright !!! If you leave her unspeyed she'll be vunerable to any "Tom" Dick or Harry !!! and the nasty viruses they carry - Feline Leukaemia Virus to name just one. If she escapes that she could be susceptable to Pyometra (wound infection) and mammary tumours. My advice get her spayed. X

IF she will get pregnant!!! Don't you mean how many times a year will she get pregnant? Or how many evenings will we be throwing buckets of water over every cauliflower earred caterwailing marauding tomcat for 5 miles that comes sniffing when she's on heat?

Get the poor cow speyed and save everyone lots of trouble

Thank you, not looking on whether to spay or not, I can rhyme off all the advice there is on that, just on the implications of not spaying in terms of disease risks etc.
Thanks for the above
