My cat has just ripped her claw out in my dogs face :( and all the claw is removed she can walk on it but when stood she lifts it up - there is blood but not dripped out - and i have a big chunk out of my finger seperating them - what can i do she is 19 yrs old the cat

I should phone the vet and ask for advice if you are unsure.

If she were mine I'd bathe with saline and wrap the foot for a few hours/overnight and have another look. If it then looked nasty I'd take her to the vet and get antibiotics.

She sounds like she's got a fair amount of life in her to take on the dog aged 19!

Just to add if it was a bite that took the chunk out of your finger I'd be more concerned about getting yourself to the doctors for antibiotics asap. Give that finger a really good clean. The last bite I had I ended up with 4 different sorts of exotic antibiotics and unable to use my arm for a couple of weeks.

Yes, I too would bath in salt water and see how she goes, if if does not look ok the next day get her to the vet. Depends how tough she is, but she may need an antibiotic jab

OP, if you can bath your cats sore foot (so probs already bad tempered cat) in salt water I shall be impressed!

if it was one of mine id be tempted to try an antiseptic spray and hope to survive the experiance :P (and again vets if its not looking better tomorrow)

I hope your poor dogs face is ok too!
