Anyone been? whats it like? Am going there on monday for a pony club ODE, will be running over the pre novice course (am doing the 3"3ft so i'm guessing that would be the pre novice course?) and would love it if any of you could tell me what the course is like

I went quite a while ago and did the pre novice and it was quite hard I thought! It might have been because it was the first one I did and so seemed worse though. It's at a really nice place.

Good luck! Should be a bit of a challenge for you - I know you've said some events you've been doing have been a bit disappointing.

Nice course,it was our first BE last year but 2nd fence was an awful garden thing with white stepping stones on .Ours wouldn't go near it to start with then jumped from stand still it caused 2 falls through horses trying to bank it .They then took it out and they took off your refusal faults but not time faults.Anyway I don't think they will use that again. It is hilly to start and has drop fences and step to hanging log skinny hedge ,.new water last year which was nice with a house.Not the best description I know.The dressage field had lots of horrible black flies which made our horse headshake and do a rubbish test

I did the PC thing there as my first ever ODE!! It was nice, not as big as PN, they did have a skinny thing in the middle of a field at the end though which seemed quite unfair! Otherwise can't remember anything terrible as trust me Tog was so green then we wouldn't have got over them if there had been and we were double clear!
