The Cavaletti headplates are wider at the top than Bates/Fairfax etc, so they suit wider withers very well. I’m not talking angle of headplate - but the width through the top.Anyone have any experience or reviews of them?
The leather feels quite grippy to ride in, and the monoflap dressage makes riders feel secure in the seat. I’ve not seen anyone slip forward in one? They actually position the rider nicely. Another bonus is the shape of the seat is quite open, so it’s a good saddle for those wide cobs with short backs and riders with bigger bums.
