Cavallo Hoof Boot pastern wrap - need a better one!?

Does anyone know a good pastern wrap? My horse has the cavello hoof boots but his pastern wraps (biggest size) fall down/up/off and are generally useless. Does anyone use another brand for large feet? Someone suggested a human sock, don't know if that would work, I might try it.

Try the Boa gaiters. Got mine today and they're great, stay in place unlike the cavallo ones. I've got size 3 cavallos infront and 4 behind and the size large is about right for us. They do them xlarge too.

I did try a sock but find the gaiters easier to use, though they were pretty crap socks so maybe it's worth trying the socks first.

I have some mac boots from years ago that came with pastern wraps that go under the hoof. When i bought cavallo boots for another horse and had your issue i bought this:

Forget the Pastern Wraps, we have been using Mens socks just pulled over the hooves under the Cavallo Boots for 6 months or so now.

Work Brilliantly, fully washable and at a fiver for 6 pairs from the Supermarket whats not to like.

I would second the men's socks idea, have used them before on many horses, cheap and they work great!

i got the extra large ones after a lot of searching online - size 5 cavallo is about 8 or 9 in mac boots which is extra large

i don't think even mens socks would stretch that well over my horse's hooves.
