Do you think this is partially due to portmores new arena?
HAving been to portmore, it is amazing now they have the new arena, it is bigger than cana's I think so it will be interesting, although cavan is much more properly prepared etc. I would not now hesitate to go to portmore whereas before I wouldn't go unless I absoloutely had to.
 
Have you seen Cavan since they started the revamp? They've covered over the outdoor sand arena. It's colossal! Since it's (practically) on my doorstep, there's hardly any point in me going anywhere else. Once they've finished, it will be amazing. Haven't been to Portmore recently.

You would be amazed in the change in portmore.
But cavan is much mor established and with an extra arena, wow, just hope it will be the same as the others i.e all within easy reach?
 
Hmm I might have to toddle along to Portmore one day ...

I wonder how much it would cost to put a lid on my little sand arena!

Where is Portmore??? we do all the big shows at cavan...usually decamp the whole yard up there for the 6 day and international!!
 
Portmore is in Craigavon area. Its new arena is amazing but their old arena as a warm up is horrendous, they are going to redo this but goodness knows how long that will take. I took my a few of my horses there on the day of opening and the condition of the old indoor was awful its just concrete with a little sandy dirty surface on top. I withdrew from all classes over 1m as it was too bad. Rant over, i wont be going back until a warm up is sorted.

Cavan also started revamping before Portmore, just a general update and it will be super once again.
