cc and thoughts on breed please

I'm rubbish at confo but thought I'd post this to make it easier for people to comment!

I used to have a pony just like this only piebald. Markings, height etc were very similar. She was shetland/welsh A cross. There has to be shetland in there looking at confo, and also colour - shetland is the only native breed which "allows" coloured.

Quite interesting that he might have shetland in him,he certainly has the mane+tail of a shetland lol :)
 
Thank you :) can't see them on my phone but I could see on the email note that I received.
He is quite hairy and a pic I've seen of his summer coat he's got feather on his legs so breed wise I don't know where that factors in.
Anybody got anything to say about his confo? :)
 
Most definetely by Houdini out of Bottom Nipper. Line bred to Fence Buster and Feed Room Raider.

Possibly in bred to Child Eater and Foot Stomper.

Nothing wrong with confo, ain't heading to Hoy's ! plus a fair length of rein to prevent child flying over head too pronto, doesn't look terribly wide so child will sit in rather than on top of the pony which should prevent too many side exits. (ps, a crupper can be made from the strap off an old martingale, just vet wrap the loop, shorten the strap and attach via a snap clip to a dee you can put on the cantle, no need to spend a fortune)

Good kids ponies are few and far between. If he is a good one you have a priceless commodity regardless of make and shape. I hope you have lots of pleasure from him.

Lol.. If he doesn't already have a passport I think one should be made up for him with those names. Very good AA :D

P's .. Looks like a Shitland had definitely something to do with his parentage.:)
