CC my riding

I don't think I'm a good rider, I'm a nervous rider, and I get told all too often that I put myself down too much. So now I want to know the truth.
Am I a novice rider? Or am I ok/quite good?


I did my first ever dressage test last week 59.58% which I was happy with.
Dad didn't video all of it, but he did get most of it.



And jumping, this video is a few months old but I don't think I've changed at all

you look good,dont get urself down! you dont look like a nervous rider from the vids. how long have you been riding for? your horse looks lovely too

You've got nice hands in the dressage vid. Try to keep a more constant lower leg contact in trot but it looks more secure once in canter. Overall a nice picture but a little stiff - relax through your back and smile - it makes a big difference. To the judge and to your riding!

Jez, I think you are great, maybe a bit nervous, but well done, they were great. Dressage was good, I'd be very proud if I were you. Very well ridden, couldnt see any aids been given, good riding!!!!

Thanks guys I obviously am better then I think then :O Im really surprised you say my hands were good in that video, I thought I was being heavy handed because she wouldnt flex to the inside lol.
