He's 15.3hh, 12 year old, ISH gelding. Just wanting general opinion on his conformation and condition please. Any comments welcome :D

He's currently been out of work for a few weeks due to the weather. He is standing on a slight incline which can be seen on a couple of the photo's... Trying to get the cheeky thing to stand still was also a task! :p

All the above where taken today and he's also had his mane pulled... I think it makes his neck look huge now though... Compared to before -

I like him!

Looks quite built down hill but you said there was a slope so might not be helped by the photo? Looks camped under at the back but the only thing I really noticed was him being bum high and build downhill. I like his shoulder, good length of rein, his legs look neat to me. I could be completely wrong but I REALLY like him :D

A lovely head on him. If he were mine I wouldn't want any more weight on him.

From the photos it looks as though he rather stands over his front legs and may be a little light of bone behind his knee.

Looks to have a really nice attitude.

Thank you for the feedback :) And I love his heart too!

After taking the pics I did notice that he had put on weight but he's been out of work with the awful weather so I'm hoping that trims off easily once he's exercised again.

he is a very nice type. condition wise well covered and slightly on the chubby side. cleanliness ..10 out of 10. confo always hard to tell from a photo , could stand better, slightly tied in below knee, and a little bum high (but that could be the stand and photo fault) but i am sure he could turn his hoof to do any job. a very nice horse.

IMHO he is gorgeous, nicely put together, not over at the knee at all (he is on a slope!) nice round bum, nice shoulder, nicely covered and he looks happy and what a shine on his coat!! xxxxx

king of hearts!

Mollylolly - Lovely, positive comments, thank you so much :D

I'll have to upload better pics of him on a flat surface. Admittely those posted can be deceiving looking at them due to the slight slope.

I like 'king of hearts!'... Potential show name there :)

I think he looks very sweet and a sort who can turn his hoof to anything and have lots of fun with. :)
Agree he could do with a little weight off - but given the lay off mine is exactly the same. Very annoying as he was just right before the big freeze!

*Updated pics from today*

Please excuse the mud and squashed mane! He had literally just come in from the field. He is stood on a slight slope again and it was rather windy!
Just wanting opinions on his weight since the last photo's.

Before (Taken a couple of weeks ago. Not in work due to weather) -

After (Taken today. Back in work daily, been ridden or lunged for 30 mins) -

Thank you :p

Wow! What a difference, that is really good and so clear to see. He seems to be putting the muscle on in the right places -hows he doing? Still being a good boy?

Thanks :)

He is very well. Quite fresh at times so he must be feeling good, but he's still being a gent with lots of character :p

OMG He so reminds me of one I had when about 18. Fabulous and evented up to intermediate (and I am a real numpty rider). He was downhill too, not sure if he was over at knee or not. If he's half as nice attitude as he looks I reckon he's a keeper. I bet he jumps!

He's gorgeous!

But I am biased. He is so like my mare that I sold a year ago and her filly, now 3yo. If you decide to keep him I'm sure you'll have great times with him. Wish I hadn't sold my mare! Still got the filly,Toyah.

Love his heart shaped star!

He looks like a nice type - he does seem rather over at the knee on his near fore though. Not sure if it's the pics or just how he's stood though.
