Ok, so I have finally plucked up the courage to ask for some CC on my mare. Please follow link to photo bucket - I have not been very successful in getting pics up on here!

So ignore any dangerous yard obstacles (you are seeing things), ignore her very 'marish' yellow tail and feathers (chalk powder has been purchased after nothing else has worked) - basically just don't tear me to shreds?

She used to be very fat and very unfit.....

ETA - 15.1, 12 years old, safest, most brilliant horse EVER. Love of my life etc etc - but I can take it!

Looks a lovely type who I'm guessing has a nature to die for.
I find ariel actilift excellent for getting white bits clean just make sure you rinse well.

considering what your saying i think she looks good and a good weight :-)

try fairy liquid on the feathers

Some days we do this - fairy liquid, followed by Cowboy magic, followed by fairy liquid, followed by blue shampoo, followed by purple rinse! And they still aren't white!

Tail is the worst though - gleaming white in the middle and yellow on the outside! :(

This made me laugh! She is an angel under saddle but on the ground she is bolshy, argumentative, cheeky, impatient, greedy, nonchalant - JUST LIKE ME! I like her that way though!

(i do have some good points too)

Honestly try ariel get the liquid concentrate its brill I find works better than fairy. Needs to be ariel though no an unbranded make. It also makes them smell nice too..;-)

fairy liquid is also great for coloureds and gets the whites really white.
love the cob - but then i`m a cob person. she looks nice and chunky and solid. wouldnt want to see any more weight on her. but seeing as you`ve been working on getting her weight down and generall fitness levels up then i`d say you`re doing the right thing.

She's a typical Gypsy Cob with fairly even markings.

If you get fed up of her yellow feather :(

you can send her to me;):):D

Hands off PS! :D

Where are all the confo experts? Nothing particular to note? I know very little so was hoping to hear from some experts - not that you lot haven't been lovely so far :)

Ohh myy!!! I think you are a cruel mummy and she should come live with me and be Buddy's girlfriend!! :D:D

I adore her one white ear, frankly in love. But i'm extremely biast  lol.

Looks a really nice weight too.

I looked at the pics of Bud and his mini rider yesterday and thought exactly the same thing! I want him! What a lovely couple they would make!

She's a nice stocky, short-coupled weight-carrier, who is pretty evenly marked. She looks as if she has some Shire/Clydesdale way back in her breeding (as many GCs have) - the hind legs and stance give it away - does she also have a moustache? She does look rather thick through the throat which might make her heavy on the hands.

And you can still send her to me - our gypsy cob retired 5 yrs ago and is enjoying a well-earned rest in the field.

I'd be unhappy about using such strong chemicals on skin. I wouldn't use it on my own, so I wouldn't like to use it on a horse!

What a lovely type she is. I really like the length of rein ishe has,she has a really good front for a cob. I bet that you feel like you have loads of horse in front of you when you ride her.

Thank you Ps! No moustache and a suprisingly short coat compared to most. She can be heavy on the fh but can also be really floaty light when pushed, turning out to be quite a dressage pony! Thanks for the CC!

She is one smart coloured coblett.

Maybe a little straight through the hocks, and over at the knee. But who cares?? She's a smasher!
