Just found some videos from July/August time of me riding Red so CC please?
First one- just generally being a bit of a toad, not really accepting the contact but better after a canter do you think? Video a bit dodgy as friend was making her pony turn on the haunches whilst she filmed

Alot better in this one, helped by the fact this is his prefered rein:

And my friend riding him for comparison :)

He's such a strange horse really, if you take too much contact he just flips, completely evades the contact, but we're getting there(back and teeth are checked regularly) :) When I got him I wouldn't have dared riding him in spurs but he's got so used to the way I ride now that I feel completely safe riding in them :)
Anyway, CC and tips if you will :D
And a reward for getting this far...

If I didn't know better I'd say it was my own horse!! Their faces are VERY similiar, same star, colour and markings

I have no cc. However, he looks positively STUNNING in your first signature pic ;)

A lot to like.
You need to shorten your reins a little & carry your hand slightly higher. At the moment because your reins are too long you are rounding your wrists & drawing your hand back towards you which in turn is causing the upper body to pitch forwards. You also rock over your pelvis in canter. Your lower leg also slips back a little too far at times, & this is caused by you getting a bit tense & pivoting on your knee.
Your friend looks to be sitting too far back in the saddle. The most likely cause is because her stirrups are too short. However he produced some quite nice trot steps when she was sitting to the trot.
He's quite active, & although I haven't seen any previous videos I'm guessing that you've put in a considerable amount of work & you should be proud of what you have achieved so far.
