CCTV for in the stable???

Hi all, i am currently looking into getting cctv installed in my horses stable as a deterant to outsiders that may come onto yard and also for the liveries who insist on tampering with my stuff, feeding my horse and unbolting his door ect ect. Would also be great to see what my boy gets upto at nights.

Anyway im wondering what it is i would need, my house is about 5/6 miles from yard and yard has no Wi-Fi so not sure how or if it would work and what choices i have...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

The cctv cameras in my stables are linked (hardwired) to our farmhouse so I can look at the horses whenever I choose.

At foaling I have them permanently playing on TV/monitors throughout the house and also right next to my bed.

We have a weblink for ours so even when I go out I just login and can see whatever is going on, which is invaluable when I have a mare not
quite ready to foal but still needs watching whilst we're out socialising.

Spring Feather, this is exactly what i want to be able to do only i think im going to have a hard job finding one that will work for hourse that is approx. 6 miles from yard.
Also regarding my signature, since the updates on here it wont display the pictures and i also cant find out how to get rid of it now lol

You'd have to had it wired into the YOs house I think. I can't see any other way around it tbh.
If they were willing to have it come into their house then you would have the weblink address and just
login from wherever you are on your phone/computer etc. It's pretty handy for me during foaling time although
I don't use it at any other time so maybe it's not really worth going to all the trouble and expense of doing it
for what might be a 5 minute wonder?

I hear you! I haven't spent enough time on here to figure stuff like that out either so can't give you any tips
