Now this is nothing to do with her horses/how she rides but I am slightly annoyed

I was the winning bidder on a tottie waistcoat on ebay and it arrived today.
In the description she describes “Used once for pix it is fab!” “shows no wear at all really it is as new! “
Now unless the one time she wore it she was attacked by a cat who tore at threads and then she hugged a very muddy horse this is untrue – there a quite a few loose threads and lots of faint mud like marks. Also the inside label inside has been cut away which is a bit strange.

I didn’t realise it was her until the item arrived as there are a few leaflets to some of her charity events and looking at her ebay user name it is ------

Now I’ve never had to leave negative feedback before but I think I might this time as the condition is clearly untrue and the postage wasn’t very accurate either!!

(rant over, sorry)

Before you leave a neg could you contact her and ask why it is clearly not as described?
Would you prefer a refund or some money back because papypal will help with both of those in the case of an item not as described.
I bought a new headcollar which was clearly not new, the buckles had gone all mildewed and it was dirty. I did item not as described and asked for £2 refund which I was awarded! ( I only paid a fiver for it!)

To be honest, although I understand you are frustrated, posting this on an open forum could potentially be a lot more damaging to the person in question than some negative eBay feedback... she is not selling on ebay I assume, as "herself" but rather as an anonymous user.

I did an item not as described on a hat which was "brand new" but on which the velvet was cut. Ebay refunded the full purchase price, even though I kept the hat (I stitched up the hole!)

Probably better - deal with it via eBay, you have every right to get your money back or open a dispute that the item was not as described - if this isn't resolved with the seller then you will get your money back.

Don't just leave negative, contact her first to see if she will rectify by offering a refund.
