Has anyone done this? I understand it's a computer based multiple choice test, but if anyone can let me know the type of questions covered I'd be grateful! Thank you
I have done it!! We did it as a written multiple choice test, slot of it is common sence like if you are transporting a race horse to the races do you large it with a large net of haylage or a small net of hay, another was if a animal is panicking do you a speed up to get to your destination fast or b stop and settle animal before continuing
Don't panic if I can pass any one can
Thanks I was wondering how they could possibly extract an hour's worth of questions out of the small amount of info they've given us to swot up on Glad to hear they bulk it out with questions like that!
I think there was 1 but that was it, only thing I can remember being asked an had to guess was at what weight does a wagon become a hgv , I could be very wrong but I have a feeling it's 3.5 tone but I would google that as I could be mega mega wrong, but don't panic really it's not to hard if you know your horses and have studied what they gave you, you will be fine
Like I said earlier if I can pass any one can (even a monkey)
Confusion arises because those who passed their driving tests after a certain date need to sit an extra test to drive between 3.5 and 7.5T.
HGV means not only does the driver need to be HGV tested but also the vehicle has regular tests and a working tachograph. There are sometimes planning restrictions on where they can be kept overnight too.
In other words us oldies can drive up to 7,5T with no extra test, younger ones up to 3.5t, but noone can drive over 7.5T without sitting an extra test.
