Hi all,
Going to be changing my horses feed as he is currently resting for a few months, and when back in work will only be doing light work with some hacking. He is currently on Top Spec comprehensive balancer and alfa a oil.
Because these are quite energy boosting and fattening feeds, I was thinking of switching the alfa a oil to either chaff or ready grass. I like top spec, and since he isn't in work I've just halved the amount he gets, and when he is back in work I will up the amount again.
So do you think I should add a chaff or ready grass to his feed instead? Or something else?
