Someone posted recently of a chaff which has no alfalfa or lucerne.

I am posting for a horse with liver disease where I am trying to get a diet which will have no or little oil or alfalfa.

So many feeds or chaffs have oil and alfalfa.
thanx in advance

Grass chaffs such as:

Readigrass
Graze-On

Or you can get pure straw chaffs - Honeychop do one, so do Thorogoods and I'm sure there are others.

Halleys Feeds do Alfalfa chaff, timothy chaff, mixed timothy and straw... a whole variety of chops with nothing else added. My horse loves the timothy chop and would eat a damped down bucket of it on its own, so it must taste pretty nice even without molasses etc. needing to be added.
Halleys deliver (even to remote smallholdings up rough tracks in the middle of nowhere) so you don't have to try to find a local stockist.
