chaffing horse!

I started lunging my 4 yr old last week and she has now got really sore between her back legs, chaffing, she is coloured and has a lot of white, she has pink skin between her back legs. Have been washing her clean as she gets poo there a lot! anyone else have this problem with there horse? what lotions/potions does anyone suggest? thanks

How come she is getting poo there? Is it runny? Maybe she is on too rich grass? This is needs to be sorted ASAP to avoid her getting sore in the first place. I would use Sudocrem if I were you but there are plenty of other creams for equines. Good luck and I hope you get it sorted soon.

she has been in on haylege, we have changed her to hay now, as yes runny poo! sudocrem, will get some in morning from chemist thank u

Make sure you clean her before and after exercise use the hosepipe or just a cloth with warm water, pop on the cream, i use fuciderm, also get her onto hay if you can.
