Chain harrowing

How much would you expect to pay for someone to chain harrow a field please? How much per acre? Anyone know please.

My neighbouring farmer does mine. He charges me £20 to do our small paddock, which is about an acre.

I had mine done a couple of years ago and it was £60 for 4 acres

I have now bought my own so costs me nothing other than fuel for the truck

I've just had someone quote me £50 to harrow 6 acres

i have no idea, we bought harrows off of ebay (cant remember how much for) and a small field car with a tow bar and run it off of red diesel. this works out well for us as we have 18acres. Depending on how much land you need to harrow, maybe this would be a possibility for you too?

If you can go for tine harrows! So much better than the old chain harrows
