For those that have never heard of it before

Does anyone know where I could get one of these bits (preferably without going down the line of having Equiport make me one specially)

Im finding it really tricky to find a bit that my horse likes, and after speaking to his old owner this is what she advised. If Im honest im not overly keen on the concept, but its something she assures me he likes, and works well in so I am willing to give it a try.

Im not trying to open up a debate on use of these bits, as I know it can be a contrevertial topic, but if anyone could point me in the right direction as for a retailer, that would be fab xx

Im not sure what you mean by a chain mouth, but I have used waterford snaffles with several of my horses, and I currently have one in my 4 year old that Im backing, they look a bit like a chain, and are very good at encouraging the horse to play with the bit, and mouth it well, hence my 4 year old having one. I found with one of my horses that it made her much softer in the mouth and more responsive. you can get them from most saddlers, as loose ring, fulmer, hanging cheek, and probably many more.

Just a thought, hope its of some use, sorry if not!

I had one made by abbey bits they have them in their catalogue, my normal feed/tack shop ordered it for me, it was about £30 ish I think
