As the title says (will almost) my friend has been searching for ages for a horse to buy.

Ideally this is what she is looking for
Well Schooled allrounder type with some experience of competing. Good to box, shoe, clip etc. Hacks alone or in company. She wants something she can compete on at a local level, hack and have lessons on. Not a plod, but not an off the wall live wire ;) age bracket 4-10 yrs height 15-15.2

She is also willing to look at a youngster who has the potential and correct temperament that she can pay to have proffessionally brought on.

The horse will be very much loved and will have a home for life. I think we are looking at prices up to 4500

a friend of mine has a 16 hh 4 yo coloured mare for sale in mid Cornwall. very safe & sensible way beyond her years, done a bit of everything.
let me know if you want more details.

I'm on the hunt for something exactly the same in the Cornwall Devon area and have found absolutly nothing, and everyone says there are some real find's to be had, obviously not in cornwall.
Im not to fussed on if they need work so long as they are genuine!
Have you looked at all the obvious places, there was a nice bay mare on adhorse?

I've got a little 15.3hh, 9 year old mare for sale. Has done very little, but is a very level headed mare, sane and sensible. Hacks alone or in company. She's done a fair bit of schooling and has been xc schooling. She also went to her first hunt meet last week and took it all in her stride. she is blemished though, so no good for showing. PM if you want more details.

Yes I think she looked on adhorse the other day but nothing took her fancy, she thought she had it cracked and had a perfect boy, things were going really well she had trialed him and all was fine but he suffered really badly with his eyes in the sunlight (although not diagnosed with uveitis) and developed 2 eye infections within as many weeks, she was devastated :( HCKernow, I have spotted a couple in Devon that may suit her but she is reluctant to travel that far to purchase (although I think she may have to) DollyCoblet, do you know if your friend is advertising her horse anywhere if not could I have any details so I could pass them on :)

How about a completely green 4yo 15hh gelding? Connemara x Bandmaster (TB), gorgeous looks, paces for dressage, attitude to event. Professionally started (popping little jumps, cantering a circle), now hacking quietly. Owners have no rider for him so their (adult) daughter hacks when she has time. I took him out for them lunchtime as he'd not been out the paddock for over a week, just put the tack on, climbed aboard and he was good as gold. They won't want silly money but they know he's a cracker, so he won't be a give-away!

I loved Ash but he was out of my budget of 5k so think he would be out of queenbee's friends budget, an amazing horse though, if only, maybe the lottery numbers will come up!

You could try contacting Lisa Ellerker at Waterlands Park? That's the breeder I bought my boy from and he's fantastic. And if she hasn't got anything suitable then she generally knows someone in the area who has. She's in Devon....that's near to Cornwall isn't it? lol.

This is her website: http://www.waterlandspark.co.uk

hope this helps !
