I have always had gate HS1 but I think I might get a new hat my for my birthday as I would like a vented hat.
HS1 is snell and I got it for that reason as I think the level of safety is higher than anything else. I don't do cross country, jump or do any fast hacking any more as my pony is now 19 and is recovering from his 2nd soft tissue injury in the last 18 months. Whilst he should come good again for full work I am going to stick to slow hacking and light schooling with the aim of continuing with some veteran classes.
For show classes I have a navy champion junior. I think it is more comfy than the HS1 which I think it actually rubbing my head a bit a bit and weaking my hair and causing possibly hair loss over the years.
I like the look of the Champion Air tech Ruby but I do wonder if the safety level is something I ought asit is Snell. How much better is Snell?
