Champion hats & sizing

I've currently got a Champion Ventair skull which I love but need a hat suitable for showing and would prefer another Champion hat as they are the only hats that fit me without giving me a headache... am looking at the Champion Classic hat, does anybody know if they come up the same size as the Ventairs or slightly smaller/bigger? Obviously I know you should get it fitted at a tack shop but the tack shops round here are useless and expensive and this hat is on special offer

I have a champion classic and love it
I have a range of the champion hats, skulls to hats and I've never had a problem using the same size for all

I've had a few different Champions now and they all fit me. My current is a Ventair skull but the 2 before that were tradtional style hats.

I tried a ventair at the Champion stand at Badminton this year and found the sizing quite different. The Ventair was a bit bigger than the usual champion hats that I wear - can't remember which ones they are but I have 3 - a normal velvet, posh velvet with skin colour harness and a skull cap.

Just checked, I've got a CPX 3000 and CPX 3000 deluxe, have also had a classic and my skull cap is a junior one. I take a 6 7/8 in all of them but the ventair came up bigger.
