It was a fantastic race.

Does anyone know whether anything was hurt in the William Hill Chase. There was a horse walking around at the end that was very, very lame, but I don't know what it was called. Haven't heard the commentators mention anything about it.

They said the grey was fine.....dunno how Paddy Brennan was OK tho', he got some kicking from those behind.....

i saw the lame one in the other race, it didnt look that fine to me unfortunaely but as i said i saw the gret in the champion hurdle get up in the very top of the pic as they went round the home turn, the jock was on his feet too

Did anyone see the pictures in the Daily Mail of Paul Nicholls three, their coats especially Denman looked terrible. I hope it was the light or camera.

Alice Plunket did a spot from the Nicholls yard at the weekend and Deman's coat looked bl**!? awful then too, motheaten, and horrible lack of muscle definition. And he usually has quite a fighting look in his eyes but he looked blank then. I actually felt sorry for the horse, I would rather see him not run at all than struggle round just to please owners. I do hope I am completely wrong.

I've heard on the grapevine he won't run and that was early last week but we all know about grapevines, they get twisted in the telling! Who knows but agree about his coat, it looks as if he's been in work too long and needs a long complete break; he's still only a youngster after all and you can't go to the well too often with them particularly if you drain it with hard races.

Lu...any news on Big Zeb ? (fell in the Queen Mother Champion Chase).........it didn't look so bad, although he slid alng way on his side (went under the running rails). They were very vague on the TV, just said he was being assessed.

sorry no idea i am afraid was taking mares and foalies to newmarket to day so missed all the racing but if i hear will post asap xx
