well a week on and I think we have our pony back!
she has been going out and coming in as normal, she's behaving normally in her stable, and eating well.
she had a good groom and stood as normal, no meltdown after 2 minutes!
so next week we will start lunging her and then my eldest will bring her back into work slowly
so the conclusion is, we really don't know but the treatment seems to have worked. and she has been off treatment for over a week.
will continue to keep a close eye on her
