Changes in 8 months...

Just thought, for those who don't really venture into PG much, I'd post the pictures of the changes in my 4yo over the last 8 months, since I've had him.

This is him as a 3yo, before I got him.

This is the day I bought him home

And this is him today

I'm so pleased with the way he's coming along, although am aware he still has a lot of muscle to develop and a lot of maturing to do... but he isn't 5 until April-ish, so still so young.

Just wanted to share. Opinions welcome.
Also, any conformational opinions welcome as I'd be interested to see read your thoughts.

...Is it wrong that Id love to shave his feathers and mane off if he were mine...?!

(to add - Im not usually taken by hairy coloured cobs(like them clean shaven) but quite like your fella!)

Looks like a very nice type - although I would have taken those feathers off too seeing as you've clipped his body, think he's look ultra smart then but each to their own.

If there was one comment I'd make re his conformationit'd be his upright shoulder but I would imagine this is more a cob trait than anything else but he is very straight legged in front and all the angles look right so it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. My conn x TB is v upright in front and it's never stopped him, certainly not jumping wise!

I think yours still will have a bit of beefing up to go yet!

Lady T, he has massively thick long mane and tail and will be shown as a traditional next year... so feathers off would just be sooo wrong, lol. I only clipped his body as he is such a hot bod and a woolly mammoth and was sweating after five minutes in the school.

Thanks for the observation on his conformation... I'm so bad at things like that so it's good to get opinions. I can spot obviously glaring faults and legs hanging off but that's about all, lol.
