Since going DIY I seem to spend all my time changing clothes. Get up, put old jeans on, go to yard, change to work clothes, back to yard after work - change into jods, back home put something old and clean on. My car boot seems to be gathering a whole wardrobe and stray shoes. Is this excessive or do other people go through this to? (I am a mucky pup and couldn't be trusted to do anything with a horse in work clothes!)

I'm glad it's not just me! I'm still doing trial and error at moment. I'm getting changed at the yard at the moment because I'm not brave enough to go into work all smelly, but that may change when it gets colder! No time to go home for a shower so liberal quantities of anti baterial handwash and perfume have to be used.

The trials and tribulations of horses! My 2 year old has a splash suit (waterproof from neck to feet). Perhaps you could buy one of these!

You are not alone though! Every few weeks I go out to my car with a giant sack to fetch in all the discarded clothes, shoes, wellies, coats...

Yup multiple changes a day!!! if i ride in the mornings i get into work mega early and shower there - otherwise its a good scrab of the hands when i get in... I've just got used to changing in cars and stables and it does mean if i ever have to stay anywhere i can normally find two whole outfits out of the boot of my car (one yard and one 'acceptable to be seen in public')!
